very touched, by both of you - a pilgrimage from many kinds of hell - so many stories - mine too. Hanging by the thinest thread from the edge of the world (unaware it was my 30th birthday) From an entirely inaudible place that I couldn't really hear for a year or so, I turned back towards the sun. Those first couple of years were sheer hell - me, unmedicated felt appalling. I went to those bloody meetings. My rehab did it like that. It still felt like hell - but I couldn’t not realise I was in rooms full of people like me, all in various stages of hell and healing. That was 38 years ago, so clearly I lived to tell the tale 🧡
So beautiful Caroline!! Thank you for sharing. It’s so, so hard when we are in hell. We are the “only ones.” Doesn’t feel like we can get out. But things shift. Insight comes. And we live to tell it 38 years. Appreciate you for spending time with us. 💛
